Sixty Sixty Live Sessions – Music CD

Miguel Montalban & The Southern Vultures made a Live Session at the legendary Denmark St in London at the Sixty Sixty Sounds in 2019.

This live session has been professionally recorded in video and audio. Some of the video shoots are available on @miguelmontalbanmusic’s YouTube channel, and the whole video is part of the downloadable DVD available in the store. Paul Bessone engineered the sound.

The CD includes an exclusive interview by Julian Byrne Culverhouse and Sam Simmonds (Sixty Sixty Sounds).

The CD was mixed, mastered and produced by Miguel Montalban.

 

The lineup includes Miguel Montalban (Guitar And Vocals). Dionisio Perez-Mavrogenis (Bass) and Jerry Sadowski (Drums). Except “Rare in Depth” and Smooth Savage” (All instruments played, recorded and produced by Miguel Montalban.

This album is completely different from the other music; this was a manoeuvre project and ended up in a compilation; this CD features a lot of Jazz manouche, Soul, and Blues, and it was the first ever “Busking CD” recorded in 2011. Most of the songs remember Django Reinhardt, Kurt Weill and standards. It was produced and released by Miguel Montalban in 2012.
